New Bipartisan Digital Health Caucus’ First Focus Is AI

A new bipartisan Congressional Digital Health Caucus will focus on artificial intelligence at its inaugural meeting Thursday (Feb. 1), and members hope to help lawmakers decide whether to regulate health AI through existing regulatory pathways or through creation of a new agency dedicated to emerging AI technologies, a House staffer told Inside TeleHealth.
