WebStudents are strongly encouraged to obtain and maintain health insurance while enrolled at the UWSOM. The School of Medicine cannot require students to have health insurance per WA state law; however some non-Washington Foundation partner universities may require students to obtain health insurance while students are enrolled at their institution.
